1. Information We Collect

We collect: your name, email address, phone number, country, professional bio, resume/portfolio URLs, payment receipt screenshots, and qualification test results. We use this data exclusively to operate the RemoteSkills marketplace.

2. Payment Receipt Data

Payment receipt screenshots are stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage with strict access controls. Only verified RemoteSkills compliance administrators can access uploaded receipts for the purpose of payment verification. Receipts are not shared with third parties.

3. Profile Data Visibility

Verified applicant profiles (name, title, skills, qualifications score tier) are visible to verified employers who search the talent pool. Full email and contact details are only shared upon application submission with the specific employer receiving that application.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@remoteskills.africa. Audit logs are retained for 24 months for compliance purposes.

5. Security

We implement Firebase Authentication, Firebase Security Rules, encrypted storage, and role-based access controls. All communications are transmitted over HTTPS. We apply least-privilege principles across all admin operations.
